Estrechar (2004-2005)

  • Interreg IIIA Initiative Spain - Morocco (European Regional Development Fund): Fundación Directa was responsible for the design, technical support, coordination and co-management of this project. Within this programme joint activities were carried out for the strengthening of women role in the cross-border development (on economic, cultural and social level). Some of these activities were as followed: Nursery and Catalogue of Cultural Female Entrepreneurs, “Estrechar” Observatory, Internet Portal with Online Services and Contents, Exchange Programme for Female University Graduates from the two Shores of Gibraltar, etc.
  • Partners of “Spanish Shore”: Andalusian Women Institute, Chamber of Commerce of Cadiz, Businesswomen Association of Seville, Businesswomen Association of Cadiz and University of Cadiz.
  • Partners of “Moroccan Shore”: Tanger Chamber of Commerce, Tetuan Chamber of Commerce, North-Moroccan Businesswomen Association (AFEM), University of Tetuan.
  • Final products elaborated by Fundación Directa: Website and Equality Guidelines in the Strait of Gibraltar (resources for businesswomen across the two Shores)...
